Josh Bredl made a huge mistake earlier in the week when he sent out a tweet during raw referring to The Social Outcasts as “The Social Jobbers.” Bredl deleted the tweet but he got roasted on Twitter by wrestlers such as Kevin Owens, Stardust and The Social Outcasts themselves.
It was recently noted by Dave Meltzer that the heat on Bredl is said to be tremendous right now and worse than people think. There’s apparently resentment toward Bredl over the fact that he’s making more money because he won a $250k contract when he won Tough Enough which is more than the NXT talents are making.
The NXT talents are set to be backstage in Orlando tomorrow night for the Royal Rumble and there are people within WWE who feel he should be put in the match as a sort of punishment or hazing. As of Thursday there was talk of putting him in the match in a situation that’s being compared to what happened to former Tough Enough winner Daniel Puder in the 2005 Royal Rumble. Puder had embarrassed Kurt Angle a few months earlier during a TV taping so he was put in the 2005 Royal Rumble match so that he could be punished by Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Hardcore Holly. That was Daniel Puder’s final appearance on WWE TV.
