Jonathan Coachman Confirms XFL Documentary In The Works, WWE Announces Live Events In Mexico

Jonathan Coachman appeared on the most recent episode of The Ross Report with Jim Ross and he revealed that ESPN is currently working on a “30 for 30” special which will be a documentary about the XFL. According to Coachman he’s been going through footage of the old games.

The XFL launched in 2001 and only lasted one season before it went under. If you missed it the first time around you can check out a nice little retrospective courtesy of OSW Review in the video below.

WWE has announced five new live events in Mexico two of which will take place in August with the other three taking place in December. Tickets go on sale this Sunday and you can check out the tour dates below.

Saturday, Aug. 27, 8 p.m. – Centro de Espectáculos Puebla, Puebla

Sunday, Aug. 28, 6 p.m. – Domo de la Feria, Leon

Friday, Dec. 2, 8 p.m. – Coliseo Yucatán, Merida

Saturday, Dec. 3, 8 p.m. – Arena Ciudad de México, Mexico City

Sunday, Dec. 4, 6 p.m. – Arena Monterrey, Monterrey
