Last year Jon Moxley decided to part ways with WWE, and it wasn’t long before he made his debut with All Elite Wrestling.
Moxley is not only one of AEW’s top stars, he’s also the current AEW World Champion. It’s been a while since Moxley has made an official appearance on WWE programming, but he did make a surprise cameo on WWE Backstage a few weeks ago when his wife Renee Young was filming content for the show from their house.
During an interview with PWInsider Jon Moxley was asked if Renee Young got heat for the cameo and he said, “Short answer is yes. I’ll tell you a story off air actually. [Laughs]”
It seems unlikely that Renee Young will face any consequences for the cameo, but nevertheless it seems that WWE officials were not happy about it.
If you missed Moxley’s cameo the first time around you can check it out in the clip below.
