Jon Moxley has had a pretty good run with All Elite Wrestling since he joined the company in 2019, but there’s no denying that he got to participate in some memorable segments during his time with WWE.
The former WWE Champion first broke onto the main roster as a member of The Shield, and he made an impact on the WWE landscape alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
During a B/R AMA Moxley was asked if he still talks to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, and he noted that they’re forever bonded.
“Very occasionally. Seth’s about to have a kid, so that’s cool. You just get in this world and you get really busy, especially in a pandemic world, everyone is in their own little bubbles. That’s the good thing about wrestling: it’s never goodbye, it’s just see you along the way. When you go through certain things with people, you’re always bonded.”
When asked if he misses The Shield, Moxley made it clear that he’s focused on the present, but he had nothing but good things to say about his run with the group.
“Not so much miss it, because I’m onto new things and it’s a new chapter. But I definitely look back on that all fondly, and it ended perfectly. That chapter ended on a nice little bow.”
At this point it’s not clear if we’ll ever see The Shield together again, but Moxley did recently say that he wouldn’t completely rule out a possible WWE return, and you can get more on that here.
