CM Punk recently returned to AEW, and he got fans talking when he cut a fiery promo where he called out Adam Page and took several shots at Jon Moxley. During his promo Punk referred to Moxley as the worst member of the Blackpool Combat Club, but Moxley doesn’t seem to mind.
The current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley recently spoke with iHeart Cincy 360 and he explained that he wants to be around the other people in his group because he gets to learn from them.
“It’s actually an awesome situation to be the worst guy in your group, because I get to learn from those guys. I want to be around people like them, you know — iron sharpens iron.”
CM Punk returned to the ring on Dynamite last week to face Jon Moxley in a title unification match and it was Moxley who picked up the victory to become the undisputed AEW World Champion. Moxley is set to make an announcement on Dynamite this week and it’s expected that he will be facing Punk in a rematch at All Out. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
