They say that anything can happen in the professional wrestling business, and recently fans have been seeing crossovers involving AEW, Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
With all of these companies crossing over there’s been talk of whether or not WWE would want to get into the mix someday, but Jon Moxley isn’t very confident that WWE would go along with that idea.
During an interview with Inside The Ropes the former AEW World Champion made it clear that he doesn’t think a crossover with WWE will happen.
“That would never happen. That’s not even worth wasting any mental energy to… You know. I mean, if you want to fantasy book some cool s**. You know, maybe you could fantasy book it for, like, fun magazine, stuff. You know, Like back in the day, in magazines, you used to always have, like, “Dream match. Bill Goldberg versus Steve Austin,” in ’98. But that ain’t gonna happen.”
Moxley went on to say that he thinks it would be cool for all the companies to work together, but he doubled down on his belief that it won’t happen.
“It’d be cool to think about the cool s**t that could happen, you know, like a big summit at the Tokyo Dome, AEW, NJPW, WWE or some s**t but that s**t ain’t going to happen. So, you know, they do their thing. They stay over there.”
