Jon Moxley Comments On Botched Ending To AEW Revolution PPV

On Sunday night Jon Moxley challenged Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch, and in the end it was Kenny Omega who picked up the victory.

Omega retained the belt with the help of The Good Brothers, and after the match the trio beat Jon Moxley down and handcuffed his hands behind his back.

Per the stipulations of the match, a timer was running which was set to blow up all of the explosions at the 30 minute mark. When the timer hit 60 seconds, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers retreated and left Jon Moxley laying in the ring.

Eddie Kingston made his way out in a very dramatic fashion, and he sacrificed himself by covering Jon Moxley to shield him from the explosion. The explosion didn’t exactly match the drama of the moment, as many fans on social media are comparing the pyro from the explosion to something that looked like sparklers.

After the show went off the air Eddie Kingston continued to sell the explosion while Moxley cut a promo. Jon Moxley said he will continue to fight for the AEW World Title, and he referenced the weak pyro when he said the following:

“Kenny Omega may be a tough son of a b**ch, but he can’t make an exploding ring worth a s**t. I’ve seen more dangerous s**t on ‘Ridiculousness’ on MTV. What the f**k was that?”

What was your reaction to the finish? Sound off in the comments below.
