Sunday night at Bound For Glory, Johnny Impact challenged Austin Aries for the Impact World Championship, and in the end it was Johnny who walked out with the belt.
Austin Aries and Johnny Impact have been going back and forth on social media recently, and business picked up for their feud when they got into a heated confrontation at the Impact Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night.
When they finally met in the ring at BFG, Johnny Impact managed to put Aries away with a brainbuster followed by Starship Pain for the win.
The new champion commented on his big victory earlier today when he posted the following on Instagram:
“What you put into something is what you get out. Proud to be @impactwrestling World Champion.”
