Global Force Wrestling is a company that is constantly changing. At the beginning of 2017 the promotion was known as TNA, but Bruce Prichard later debuted as an authority figure and declared that TNA is done and the company would now be known as Impact Wrestling. Fast forward a few months later, and the company is now known as Global Force Wrestling.

Thursday night the stars of Global Force Wrestling returned to the Impact Zone, and they’ll be busy for the next few days as they tape enough footage to hold GFW over until Bound For Glory. There were some surprises as Jim Cornette appeared and established himself as a new authority figure, and it was rumored that a former WWE Intercontinental Champion could be making his debut.
John Morrison worked a few GFW live events recently, and there’s been a lot of talk about him appearing on Impact. His debut was confirmed for next week’s episode, and it’s been revealed that John Morrison will be known as Johnny Impact in Global Force Wrestling.

Prior to his debut it was rumored that there was talk of Johnny Impact becoming the new GFW World Champion after Alberto El Patron was stripped of the title earlier this week.
