WWE confirmed a few weeks ago that John Morrison had signed a new multi-year contract with the company, and he officially made his return on WWE SmackDown this week.
The Miz was defeated by Kofi Kingston, and after the bell rang he attacked Kofi, seemingly turning heel in the process, before he was chased off by Big E.
Later backstage Cathy Kelley knocked on the door to The Miz’s dressing room, and John Morrison answered. When Cathy told him she was hoping to speak to The Miz, Morrison told her that The Miz doesn’t have anything left to say tonight, then he closed the door.
It looks like John Morrison will be part of the SmackDown brand moving forward, and it looks like he will be working with The Miz in some capacity. Stay tuned for updates.
