It’s unfortunate but in the world of professional wrestling politics play a major role, and some stars need to play the game in order to land a better spot on the card.
Former ECW star Francine ended up joining WWE in 2006 as part of the company’s ECW revival, but unfortunately for her she only lasted a few months before parting ways with the company.
During a recent episode of the Eyes Up Here podcast Francine discussed her run with WWE, and she noted that John Laurinaitis questioned why she wasn’t doing more to enhance her political status with the company.
“Johnny Ace, Laurinaitis, pulls me in his office, ‘You’re like watching paint dry.’ I said, ‘Excuse me?’ He goes, ‘Not your work. I’m not talking about your work.’ He goes, ‘You’re not politicking. What are you doing?’ I said, ‘What do you mean what am I doing?’ He goes, ‘You’re in your locker room where no one can see you. You’re hiding.’”
