Last year was quite the year for John Laurinaitis as it was revealed by the Wall Street Journal that misconduct claims had been made against Laurinaitis and he was quietly let go from WWE. Laurinaitis is not expected to return to the company, but it looks like wrestling fans will get their chance to meet Johnny Ace sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that John Laurinaitis will be making his first post-WWE appearance over WrestleMania 39 weekend when he appears at Wrestlecon in Los Angeles.
According to the report John Laurinaitis is being brought in by Bobby Fulton’s Big Time Collectibles, and Bobby Fulton will also be bringing in WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam.
John Laurinaitis first joined WWE in 2001 and in June of 2001 he became Director of Talent Relations. In 2009 he took on the role of Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, but when Triple H took over he ended up reporting to The Game as the Senior Vice President of Talent Operations.
In 2012 Laurinaitis was demoted to a producer role, but he returned to head up WWE’s Talent Relations department in March 2021. He officially parted ways with WWE in August of 2022.
