It’s been quite the year for John Cena as he kicked off his retirement tour back in January, went on to win his 17th world championship at WrestleMania 41, and he recently wrapped up his in-ring career when he faced off against Gunther in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. There’s currently no word on when fans will be seeing John Cena on WWE programming again, but the former champion has been confirmed for a public appearance in 2026.
Today it was confirmed that John Cena will be appearing at Megacon Orlando next year. The event is set to take place from March 19 through March 22, 2026 and tickets go on sale on Wednesday, December 17. Megacon Orlando posted the following announcement:
“From unforgettable entrances to championship moments, John Cena’s impact on WWE won’t be forgotten. We’re grateful for the memories, the matches, and the legacy he’s built. Experiences to meet the legend will be on sale Wednesday, December 17 at 10 AM ET”

John Cena recently confirmed that he signed a five year deal with WWE that will keep him with the company as an ambassador. It’s been reported that Cena is expected to make appearances for WWE both off and on screen, but both he and the company are adamant that he will not be returning to the ring for another match.
Stay tuned for updates.
