John Cena’s in-ring career came to an end at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he faced off against Gunther in his final match. The former WWE Champion ultimately lost the match when he tapped out, and the wrestling world is still processing the finish, as well as the fact that Cena’s wrestling career is now officially over. Everyone has been waiting to see what John Cena has to say about his final match and it looks like Cena will be breaking his silence very soon.
Cody Rhodes announced today that John Cena will be speaking for the first time since retiring from in-ring competition on this week’s episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About, which is set to premiere on Wednesday.

The American Nightmare played a huge role in John Cena’s retirement tour as Cena turned heel when he attacked Cody at Elimination Chamber. He then went on to defeat Cody Rhodes to become a 17 time world champion in the main event at WrestleMania 41. Cena managed to hold onto the title for a few months before he inevitably turned face again on the SmackDown before SummerSlam and then dropped the belt to Cody in the night two main event.
One way or another it’s going to be very interesting to hear what Cena has to say about his retirement and his future. Stay tuned for updates.
