John Cena won the men’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber premium live event and he is now set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. After the match John Cena shocked the world when he beat Cody down, and aligned himself with The Rock. Now everyone is waiting for answers.
Bill Apter of Sportskeeda WrestleBinge recently called up John Cena Sr. and he asked if he knew anything about why his son did what he did at Elimination Chamber. John Cena Sr. then went off on Apter before hanging up on him.
“I’m tired of guys like you, I’m tired of the other phone calls that I’m getting. I don’t know why he did what he did. You’re gonna have to get that from him. I am so tired of this. Why don’t we just let it play out and find out what’s happening. A reporter is a reporter. Listen Bill Apter, ‘friend,’ enough is enough. Thanks! I won’t say what Cody Rhodes said to you, but what I will say is have a nice day and thanks for nothing.”
John Cena is currently being advertised for upcoming episodes of Raw on March 17, March 24 and March 31, so hopefully he will address his heel turn when he returns to TV. It was also recently reported that The Rock is expected to return to TV soon, and you can get more on that here.
