John Cena made his big return to SmackDown this week, and he challenged AJ Styles to a WWE Championship match at the Royal Rumble. Cena didn’t wrestle on SmackDown, but he did wrestle after the show. John Cena teamed up with Dean Ambrose to defeat AJ Styles and The Miz in a dark match which took place after 205 Live. John Cena pinned AJ Styles after hitting him with the Attitude Adjustment to win the match, and you can check out a clip of the finish below.
This week’s episode of SmackDown Live featured a big Tag Team Title change after American Alpha won the Four Corners Elimination Match to become the new champions. After their big win American Alpha talked about how 2016 was a big year for them, as it saw the team win the NXT Tag Team Titles and the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
