John Cena and Roman Reigns have been taking shots at one another on Monday Night Raw and on social media, and Thursday night Cena took to Twitter comment on the New England Patriots game and he included Roman Reigns in his tweet.
However, the conversation didn’t end there.
Cena and Roman will likely continue to trade insults for the next few weeks, but we’ll see who gets the win when they face off at No Mercy.
Alberto El Patron was suspended from Global Force Wrestling back in July, which was an issue because at the time he was the GFW Champion. The company announced a few weeks ago that Alberto had been stripped of the belt and Eli Drake later won a gauntlet match to become the new champion.
Alberto’s suspension has yet to be lifted, but it’s been rumored that he could be returning to the company for the Impact tapings after Bound For Glory. Patron recently spoke to Sports Illustrated and noted that details are still being worked out, but he hopes to return in November.
“I’ve been in touch with Global Force Wrestling, and we’re working to bring back Alberto El Patron to the company,” said Patron. “We’re working to find something that will please the fans. At the end of the day, I work for the fans; they are the ones I work to please. I am going to put all my heart, all my passion into making this work. I am completely focused on where I want to take the company in November, and I promise to make the company great again, and Alberto is going to be on top again.”
