John Cena called out The Undertaker for weeks, and at WrestleMania 34, Cena got exactly what he wanted.
The Undertaker answered John Cena’s challenge when he showed up, took off his hat and jacket, and The Deadman went right into action without ever saying a word.
But this was not the type of John Cena match that fans have become accustomed to seeing at WrestleMania, because The Undertaker squashed Cena on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
One can’t help but wonder what’s next for John Cena now that he’s been definitively defeated by The Deadman, but he recently took to Twitter to share a cryptic video following the loss.
The video shows Cena, looking somewhat broken, performing “House of the Rising Sun” which Cena posted without any sort of caption giving context to his somber performance.
Times have certainly changed for the 16 time WWE World Champion. It seems that his Super Cena powers are wearing off with each passing year, as The Undertaker only needed one Tombstone to put him down on Sunday.
Only time will tell where John Cena goes from here, but he is currently being advertised for Raw tonight, so hopefully we’ll be getting some answers later tonight.
