John Cena Says He Wants To Face The Undertaker, Cena To Kick Off SmackDown Tonight

John Cena is making his return to WWE SmackDown Live this week, and soon the WWE roster will be on the road to WrestleMania. There’s a lot of talk about what the WrestleMania 33 card is going to look like, and it’s been rumored that John Cena could face off against The Undertaker at the big event.

John Cena and The Undertaker are two of the biggest names in the business, and althought they’ve worked together before, they’ve been kept away from each other for the most part over the last 10 years.

Cena recently spoke to ESPN about his WWE return, his outside projects and more. During the interview he called The Undertaker a “cornerstone of the WWE” and he didn’t shy away from the question when asked if he wants to face Taker in the future.

“If you’re asking if I’d want to be in a high-profile match with one of the most legendary superstars in the industry, my answer is yes.”

John Cena and The Undertaker have faced off against some of the biggest names in the industry at WrestleMania, and at this point a Cena/Taker WrestleMania match is certainly a dream match for some of the fans out there. It seems that John Cena is game, and now that he’s back it should become more clear in the weeks to come as to whether or not the dream match will become a reality.

John Cena has been around for a long time now, and he also noted that he’s seen quite a few people come and go over the years. Nowadays John Cena is busy working on projects outside of WWE, and other stars are working hard to try and claim the top spot in the company. During his chat with ESPN, John Cena commented on the current roster’s work ethic.

“I’ve seen a bunch of guys come and a bunch of guys go. It seems like now we do have more able-bodied guys, and more of them than ever before. I think it’s certainly a fresh look for our universe, and I’m certainly not opposed to it.”

John Cena will be making his big return to SmackDown Live tonight, and he won’t be wasting any time at all. The fifteen time World Champion informed the world via Twitter that he will be kicking off the show, and that he’s ready for the warm Chicago welcome.
