John Cena was one of WWE’s top stars for decades, but he wrapped up his in-ring career last month when he was defeated by Gunther in his final match.
Throughout the course of his career John Cena has been on the receiving end of some brutal moves and it sounds like there are a few that left a lasting impression on him. During a recent Q&A session at Fan Expo, John Cena was asked which moves hurt the most, and he listed off a number of various maneuvers
“It’s not a finisher, but that damn German suplex, I guess if you take 85 of them that would probably hurt the most. F5 is a tough one. All the splashes are tough too. Guys just heaving themselves off the top rope. There’s no cheating gravity. RKO is easy, don’t tell Randy. Tombstone, I’ve only taken one of those, and also gave one. It worked in both cases so that’s a pretty good one.
Chokeslam from the Big Show because when he gets you up the fall is like 12 feet. He’s 7 feet with these broomstick arms and you’re just looking at the mat going ‘That’s a long way down.’ That’s a tough one too.”
