John Cena is celebrating his 20th anniversary with WWE this month, and the anniversary has given the former WWE Champion a lot of time to reflect on his run with the company.
During the Ruthless Aggression Era, John Cena made a memorable debut on SmackDown when he stepped up to face Kurt Angle. WWE recently posted a video showing Cena reacting to the match, and during the video he shared an interesting story about his first meeting with Vince McMahon.
“I found out at 2:45 in the afternoon that I’d be wrestling Kurt Angle. I had one meeting with Mr. McMahon before this, and I was pushed into his office and Michael Hayes asked like, ‘What do we do with this?’, and Mr. McMahon’s first sentence to me – it was a short meeting – he said, ‘Cut his f**king hair’, and then I was out of the office.”
It’s been announced that John Cena will be returning to WWE when he makes a special appearance on the June 27th episode of Raw. It’s also rumored that he could be competing at SummerSlam and you can get more on that here.
