Over the last few years John Cena’s career has changed tremendously as the former WWE Champion has been focusing on acting as opposed to wrestling. However, Cena returned to WWE last month at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view and he’s once again back in the mix.
John Cena has been making appearances on WWE TV, and he’s also been working live events as of late. It seems that Cena is fully engrossed in the WWE lifestyle at the moment as he told Chris Hardwick on ID1OT that he watches as much WWE as he can.
“I watch WWE. I still watch when I’m there. I watch as much of the matches as I can and I put myself in their shoes. When they do something that I wouldn’t necessarily do, it’s not like, ‘Fucking kids don’t get it. Why did they do that?’ I can learn just by watching.”
Sami Zayn recently took to Twitter following the WWE live event on Saturday night to say that Cena praised his match with Finn Balor and it made him feel good.
John Cena will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam on August 21. Stay tuned for updates.
