John Cena Reveals His Most Embarrassing Moment In The Ring

When you work for WWE you’re constantly on the road taking bumps inside the ring, as WWE Superstars very rarely get time off from work. That means that even if they’re sick, they can’t just call in and take a day off because the show must go on.

No one knows this better than 16 time WWE World Champion John Cena, because he has a reputation for going above and beyond and being the ultimate company man.

Cena’s had a lot of really interesting moments inside the ring, but he recently spoke to SportBible about one embarrassing moment that stands out about the rest.

The former WWE Champion shared a story about a time when he had food poisoning during a match, and it got so bad that he ended up pooping himself during the contest.

“The most embarrassing thing is when I performed with food poisoning. I happened to not be wearing my denim shorts, this was way back in the days of yore and believe it or not, I was wearing Halloween orange spandex trunks. At the end of the contest, the orange had turned into an unflattering Autumn brown. Another wrestling nightmare would be to have your music play and you’re not ready to go out, but I would much rather arrive late but dressed for the occasion than pooping yourself and vomiting during a performance.”

Pooping yourself while performing in front of thousands of screaming fans doesn’t sound like a very good time, but as we’ve seen in the past, it doesn’t matter what kind of threat John Cena is up against, because he never gives up.
