You never know when you could see a big WWE return, and it looks like John Cena is set to make his return to World Wrestling Entertainment sooner rather than later.
Ryan Satin of FOX Sports is reporting that John Cena is set to return to SmackDown during the September 1 episode at The Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
John Cena last wrestled when he challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. Unfortunately for Cena he didn’t win the gold and following his loss he stepped away from WWE once again. However, Cena made a surprise appearance at the Money in the Bank premium live event in July where he teased the possibility of WrestleMania coming to London.
It’s also being reported that John Cena will be heading to India with WWE for Superstar Spectacle at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium on Friday, Sept. 8.
There’s currently no word on whether or not John Cena will be wrestling when he returns, or how long he will be returning for. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
