John Cena Reportedly In Talks To Star In Duke Nukem Film

For many years John Cena was the face of the WWE. He destroyed every opponent that got in his way as he took on all comers, but nowadays Cena is busy trying to make a name for himself in Hollywood.

Things seem to be going well for Cena, as he continues to land bigger roles, and now it looks like he could potentially be playing the lead in a movie based on a popular video game franchise.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that John Cena is in talks to play Duke Nukem in a potential film adaptation of the game series.

According the report, the film is set to be produced by Platinum Dunes, the company run by Michael Bay.

As of right now the film does not have a writer or a director.

If Cena does land the role it will definitely be interesting to see how it all comes together. John spent many years as the face of the PG Era in the WWE, and Duke Nukem is pretty much The Attitude Era personified in a video game.

Cena made his big return to Raw this week when he confronted Elias, but unfortunately Elias took him out when he smashed a guitar over his back.

John will get his chance for revenge when he competes in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday.
