Fans have been watching Kevin Owens trash talk the state of Texas for weeks now, and last night on Monday Night Raw the former Universal Champion called out the one and only “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and invited him to WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium.
Earlier today Steve Austin confirmed that he will be confronting Kevin Owens on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and he made it clear that he’s going to open a can of whoop-ass.
John Cena knows a thing or two about WrestleMania, and he reacted to Steve Austin’s Mania return when he posted the following on Twitter:
“Never in the history of #StoneColdFriday did I think I’d see this!! Excited for @SteveAustinBSR, excited 4 the @WWE Universe and I’m excited for #WrestleMania!!!!”
WrestleMania will air live on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd. WWE has confirmed that the confrontation between Steve Austin and Kevin Owens will take place on WrestleMania Saturday. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
