The Rock has been a very busy man recently as he’s been promoting his new movie “Jungle Cruise” and he’s also been a hot topic in the wrestling world as it’s rumored he could be returning at some point.
The Great One recently denied that rumors, but his former rival John Cena was asked for a comment while speaking with ET. Cena praised The Rock and noted that a return would be great for both Rock and WWE.
“Dwayne Johnson is a star in his own universe. There is no one like him. There will never be anyone like him. For him to be gracious enough to return to WWE, its own global entertainment phenomenon, that’s great for WWE and it is great for The Rock.
“As a fan of WWE, I really hope he returns. I think it would be special for everyone.”
John Cena recently made his return to WWE at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view and he is expected to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
It’s been reported that WWE is hoping to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, and it was also recently reported that the company has a possible return date in mind for The Rock. You can get more on that here.
