John Cena Pushing To Keep The Divas Title On Nikki Bella?

Nikki Bella is the second longest reigning WWE Divas Champion at the moment but she’s on her way to toppling AJ Lee’s record. Fans have often wondered if John Cena has had anything to do with Nikki’s success and it’s been rumored that he’s pushed to keep the title on her in the past. It was also rumored that there were plans for Charlotte to defeat Nikki and win the title when she came to the main roster recently but that Cena made sure it didn’t happen.

Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he’s not sure if the rumors are true but John Cena and Nikki Bella’s relationship is part of the reason why she’s having such a long run with the title. He goes on to add that he’s heard nothing about the Charlotte rumor but also says that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
