John Cena Praises New McMahon Biopic Script, Wants To Play Vince

News broke a short while ago that a Vince McMahon biopic is in the works. The script is full of historical inaccuracies. But, it’s still a movie about the Chairman Of The Board so we’ll take it.

One of the first questions everyone asked each other was who would play Vince McMahon in the film. Linda McMahon was recently asked who would play her in the movie and she said she didn’t know and doubted the movie would see the light of day in the first place.

Whether the movie is actually getting made or WWE just bought the script to make sure the movie was never made is a moot point. Because, John Cena recently thrown his hat in the ring to play Vince McMahon himself.

When The Hollywood Reporter asked John Cena about his dream role, he said he’d love to play Vince McMahon. Of course, Cena kept his feet on the ground in that regard because he went on to say, “unfortunately, that would be something I’d love to do, but I feel maybe a different actor should do that movie, just because of how powerful the story is, and I would hate for the audience to feel that it is a WWE-produced product. And that’s not in a bad way, it’s just I want them to feel the emotion that I felt reading the script. I can just tell you that it’s out there and that it’s awesome and man, if it were all different, I would certainly love to step into Vince’s shoes.”

So, John Cena has read the script and he said he loves it. That’s the first person we’ve heard that had good things to say about it. Jim Cornette actually has a bounty out for more information on the writer of the script so he can understand what Craig A. Williams was thinking when he penned it.

In case you were wondering Craig A. Williams has also written one episode a piece for such classics as Stark Raving Mad and Ozzy And Driz. He also wrote the live-action film adaptation of Underdog and that’s all according to IMDB. So it certainly sounds like he deserves the prestige of writing a movie like Pandemonium.

But, what if John Cena got the part of Vince McMahon in Pandemonium? Wouldn’t that be awesome?
