John Cena Opens Up About His Break Up With Nikki Bella

John Cena and Nikki Bella’s split was hard for some fans to take but it’s obviously been pretty rough on John and Nikki too. This couple of pro wrestling royalty seemed like a match made in heaven and Vince McMahon would have loved the idea of immediately signing their offspring to WWE contracts, unfortunately, John Cena doesn’t want any kids.

Cena recently spoke at Cinemacon in Vegas while promoting his new Bumblebee movie when he opened up about his recent split with the eldest Bella Twin. He obviously still has a lot of love for Nikki Bella, it just didn’t work out for them in the end.

“I love Nicole with all of my heart, and the split is very tough. But that’s life. We all go through highs, we all go through lows, I’m going to get through it. I love her. I’ll always love her. The fact that my heart hurts for her — I know I was in love. So I’ll always have that.”

It looks like there could be more to the John Cena and Nikki Bella story but it will likely only unfold on television as The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the couple did break up and get back together a few weeks before they actually called off their relationship.

There was footage filmed for the next season of Total Bellas, but only time will tell what fans wind up seeing in the end. Although it’s unknown at this point whether they actually filmed something different for the next season of Total Bellas it looks like we haven’t heard the last of this sad story about two good people who just couldn’t make it work for whatever reason.

After all, the John Cena and Nikki Bella breakup is going to be a focal point for the next season of Total Bellas on the E! Network.
