WWE announced at today’s live event in Kansas City, MO that John Cena would not be present due to the fact that he is injured.
John Cena was originally supposed to face Randy Orton in the main event of the show but Daniel Bryan challenged Orton to a steel cage match instead. People in the audience noted that Orton mentioned something about an eye injury.
WWE offered refunds to anyone who wanted them and told the fans that the refunds would have to be collected by the end of the second match. We don’t know the extent of John Cena’s injury or if he will miss more time in the ring because of it but we hope to get more information as soon as possible.
