John Cena is currently away from WWE, as he’s busy filming season 2 of his show “American Grit” which airs on FOX, and now John Cena has scored another gig outside of the WWE. Variety is reporting that John Cena has landed a role in “The Pact” which also stars Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz. The synopsis reads as follows:
“The film follows three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it’s too late.”
The report doesn’t mention when the movie is set to start filming, but it seems likely that the production will cause Cena to miss more time away from the ring. He’s currently being advertised to return to WWE live events in December, so, we’ll have to stand by and see if that changes.
Chad Gable recently spoke to SCNow.com to promote the SmackDown live event at the Florence Civic Center, and during the interview Gable talked about his influences. You can check out the full interview here along with a quote below.
