It’s no big secret that Becky Lynch is one of WWE’s most popular stars at the moment, and 2018 has been a breakout year for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Over the last few months Becky has taken her career to a whole new level, and people within the wrestling community have found it impossible to ignore her passion.
John Cena has taken notice, and during a recent interview with with The Gorilla Position he explained why Becky Lynch’s recent run has fired him up.
“I love any instance where people feel comfortable enough with self to be expressive. For so long I didn’t know what, or who, Becky Lynch was. Now I do, and that fires me up. I love that stuff.”
Becky Lynch responded when she posted the clip on Twitter along with the following caption:
“I found my voice in 2018. That simple, powerful thing left the rest scrambling to catch up. In 2019 everybody better step up because nothing or no-one is going to hold me down again.”

Becky Lynch will be kicking off 2019 in a big way, as it was recently announced that she’ll be challenging Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble.
As for John Cena, he’s set to return for a series of WWE live events soon, and his first show back will be the Madison Square Garden event on December 26.
