John Cena appearances on WWE programming are few and far between nowadays because Cena is busy focusing on his acting career, but it was confirmed on WWE Backstage this week that the 16 time WWE World Champion will be making his return to SmackDown on February 28.
Following the big announcement John Cena took to Twitter to comment on his return to the blue brand, and he also used the opportunity to crack a joke about being an invisible man.
It’s interesting that John Cena is returning to WWE programming on the road to WrestleMania, as the former champion has openly said that he wants to earn a spot at the Show of Shows this year.
It’s also been reported that Cena wants a more significant role at this year’s show.
