John Cena Comments On A Possible Heel Turn During Podcast With Chris Jericho

During his live podcast with Chris Jericho on the WWE Network John Cena was asked by Jericho if he’s ever going to turn heel. Cena said he’s ready to do it and that the idea was briefly mentioned during his program with The Rock. Cena said that although the idea was only brought up briefly he hit the ground running with it. He says he got new gear and even created a new entrance song to be prepared if the company did call for a heel turn. Of course it didn’t end up happening.

He says he’s ready to do whatever he’s asked of and said that he will play any role to the best of his ability. He also said he enjoys being the guy that little kids root for and if the company ever does turn him heel he hopes that they establish a new hero for the younger crowd before pulling the trigger.
