Joey Styles is celebrating a big debut with WWE today as he mentioned on Twitter. It was ten years ago today that Joey Styles joined the WWE at the Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view which took place in San Diego, California on November 1st, 2005. Joey would then go on to become the lead announcer on Monday Night Raw a few days later and it was announced that he had signed a five year contract with WWE.
Styles would go on to call commentary for WWE’s resurrected ECW brand in 2006. Styles then retired from professional wrestling commentary in 2008 and he currently works as the VP of Digital Media Content for WWE.com.
