Jim Ross On Who He Wants To See Switch Brands In The WWE Superstar Shake-Up

Jim Ross is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he recently returned to the company at WrestleMania 33. The WWE landscape is going to change this week thanks to the Superstar Shake-up and Good Ol’ JR has some thoughts on who he would like to see switch brands.

Luke Harper has been a significant part of SmackDown Live since the brand split returned, but in his latest blog Jim Ross noted that he would like to see the former Wyatt Family member move to Raw.

“I’d like to see Luke Harper move to RAW and get a chance to contribute in a more significant way. He’s skilled, motivated/hungry and can have an effective wrestling match with anyone on the roster. Just believe that there is something there with Harper.”

Both brands have had their ups and downs when it comes to the tag team division over the past few months, and Ross is also hoping that the deck gets reshuffled in an appropriate manner.

“Curious to see how the tag teams shake out as well as WWE has done a nice job of restocking their tag team shelves and the reshuffling of the deck might present some compelling matchups that many of us haven’t thought of at this time.”

The Miz and Maryse have been one of the top acts on SmackDown Live since last summer, but the WWE Hall of Famer also wondered if they might be moved to Raw this week.

“Will Miz/Maryse move to RAW as if they seem to be ‘this close’ to moving up yet another level on any show that they appear. The Miz has worked hard to get better in the ring and he’s succeeded plus adding his lovely wife Maryse to the equation has worked well in my view.”
