Jim Ross recently updated his blog and gave his thoughts on his Twitter account being hacked and more. You can read the full entry here and check out some highlights below.
His Twitter account getting hacked:
“Someone hacked my twitter account @JRsBBQ early Sunday morning and then let the world know that I was dead. Well, I’m not but I am pissed and this matter isn’t over but we do hope to have our account back up and running today thanks to the efforts of the folks at @Twitter. Karma is a crazy thing and somewhere down the road whoever did this and facilitated an emotional day for my family and friends will have to answer to their misdeeds.”
Creative changes for SmackDown:
“Expect some noticeable changes to WWE Smackdown when it moves to the USA Network in January. Hopefully, RAW and Smackdown will be more episodically produced after they both start airing on the same network.”
Talents not getting over:
“Talents that are not over in any promotion can not get over via losing more than they win including the uncreative, lazy 50-50 booking where a wrestler wins one week and then loses to the same talent, in some form, the next week. As a fan how can we truly make an emotional investment on parity booking? One aspect of the art form of pro wrestling is being able to win or lose like a professional and better the product and not be paranoid of dropping a fall unless the talent in question isn’t fundamentally sound.”
