WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with his latest blog where he talks about what’s going on with Adam Rose, Extreme Rules and more. You can check out the full entry here along with some highlights below.
Talents not selling:
Extreme Rules is a physicality heavy show that should motivate all talents to SELL. I’ve been watching a ton of TV wrestling the past few weeks and it seems that many talents in a variety of promotions, especially those in their 20’s but not exclusive to that age, feel that selling makes the look weak. News flash… selling when done efficiently can do just the opposite.
Plus, either no selling or sort sighted selling is fundamentally lame and embarrassing to those who practice arguably the top facet of virtually any pro wresting match.
Adam Rose’s current situation:
It’s a head scratcher that some are declaring that Adam Rose’s professional life is essentially over since his second WWE Wellness Policy violation that was followed by his arrest for domestic violence regarding an incident with his wife. Our society loves to forgive those who show a legitimate desire to right their wrongs and Adam Rose has the opportunity to do just that. While Rose’s WWE career is likely history that certainty doesn’t mean that his life is history. Rose’s issues with his family including his special needs son are much more significant than is a WWE career. or career with anyone.
One doesn’t have to look too far on the WWE roster/staff to see plenty of individuals who have been afforded a second chance, or more in some cases, of which is a good thing if said individuals are sincere about making necessary, life changes.
