Jim Ross Reveals How He Convinced Vince McMahon To Hire Gail Kim

Gail Kim turned a lot of heads when she debuted in WWE thanks to her superior in ring skills. Today she’s widely regarded as one of the best women’s wrestlers in the industry and shows no signs of slowing down. But Jim Ross revealed on the latest edition of The Ross Report that he had to sell Vince McMahon on Gail Kim and his sales pitch was pretty hilarious to say the least.

“…I remember Vince said, ‘You want to hire this Asian girl, right? I don’t know, I just don’t know.’ And I said, ‘Well Vince, you know, there’s a lot of guys that like Asian women. There’s Asian porn sites.’ ” Ross said.

So there it is. Ross sold Vince on the idea of signing Gail Kim by appealing to his grapefruits. Say what you will about Vince McMahon but you’d be lying if you said that man isn’t legendary.

Jim Ross did add that he also mentioned how great of a wrestler Kim is when trying to convince McMahon to sign her. Kim followed up on Ross’ comment by saying she wasn’t surprised.
