Jim Ross On The ‘Kiss Me Arse’ Match, WWE Dropping First Names

Jim Ross posted a blog on his website recently, talking about WWE match gimmicks, shoot interviews with Jim Cornette, and working with New Japan Pro Wrestling Again. You can read the highlights below:

On WWE dropping first-names of NXT stars when they get called up:

“I have no idea. I assume it’s just a WWE, marketing thing.”

WWE’s “Kiss My Arse” Match:

“I don’t know the rules but it fits the ‘extreme’ theme one has to think.”

The possibility of working with Jim Cornette:

“I would love to do a show with JC any time and anywhere.”

Working with New Japan Pro Wrestling again:

“I am open to broadcasting more NJPW events if they were to come my way. I have heard nothing of doing more since January.”
