WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with his latest blog where he talks about The Miz’s recent Talking Smack promo and more. You can check out the full entry here along with some highlights below.
If he thinks Seth Rollins is dangerous: For the record I do not feel that Rollins is overly dangerous but his in ring style can be especially when Rollins, like so many of his peers, wrestles too fast. This fast pace is an unsettling trend IMO as it causes many talents to forgo several key, characteristics and traits that must be in place for any talent to execute a great in ring performances.
If The Miz’s promo was real: Does it matter if @mikethemiz heated promo directed to Daniel Bryan was real or show biz if it worked and got people talking? Miz delivered from his heart and seemingly it was mostly an ad lib. Some fans are more concerned with knowing if it was legit or a performance rather than simply enjoying the promo for what it was which was a good piece of business that I’d surmise was strategically planned.
Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura: Why is there so much debate whether or not Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura ‘belong’ on the WWE main roster? Of course their individual skills merit the ‘promotion’ if that ‘s what it truly is from NXT. NXT is a brand and that brand needs stars to sell tickets and to draw crowds for the younger talents in which to work and develop their skills. The good news is that when Joe and Nakamura are called up it will be big news and it will help stimulate business.
