Ever since that infamous audio file was released to the public back in 2015, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been exiled by WWE, with many of their superstars being told not to reference the former World Champion as part of any of their televised broadcasts.
Shield members Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were shown paying tribute to Hulk Hogan at the WWE Live Event in India this past week which could be a hint that WWE is ready to allow The Immortal One to return to the company after a two-year absence.
Even fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has revealed that he thinks Hogan will be back in WWE next year, he recently spoke to Business Insider to promote his new book Slobberknocker: My Life in Wrestling, when he was asked about Hogan and if he thinks he will ever return to the squared circle.
He said: “I don’t have any insider knowledge that Hulk will be back in WWE, but if he isn’t in 2018, I will be shocked.”
There has also been a lot of online speculation recently that Hogan could return for the 25th anniversary of Raw next month, a celebration that takes place just six days before the 2018 Royal Rumble. With stars like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash already set to be in attendance, it seems that if Hogan does make his first appearance in almost three years as part of the show, then he will be in good company.
