Scott Yager recently spoke to Jerry Lawler at New York Comic Con and Lawler nonchalantly made a very interesting comment. During the interview Lawler was talking about making the transition to SmackDown from Raw and Scott mentioned that he wants to hear Jerry Lawler’s commentary live. Lawler responded by saying there’s a very good possibility that SmackDown could go live in the near future.
SmackDown going live would certainly make it a more interesting show to work but it’s tough to see how that would work out logistically unless WWE moved the show to Tuesday nights. In any case it sounds like someone, somewhere has put this thought in Lawler’s head which means it’s probably being discussed.
