WWE Hall of Famers Jerry Lawler and Lita have both been regulars on WWE pre-shows for a while now, but F4Wonline.com reports that WWE has removed the two stars from weekly programming.
Both stars have been moved from full time WWE deals to Legends deals, and they’ve been taken off the pre-shows before Raw, SmackDown and WWE pay-per-views. Jerry Lawler and Lita are still both loosely affiliated with WWE, and the company may bring them back to the WWE Network for special occasions.
During the pre-show for WWE TLC on Sunday, radio host Peter Rosenberg sat in on the panel, and it looks like WWE may be working with more guest hosts in the future.
Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte to win the Raw Women’s Championship last week in the main event of Raw, and this week it was announced that the two stars will face off in a 30 minute Iron Man match at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line on December 18th.
It was recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Charlotte and Sasha Banks wanted to have a ladder match at the pay-per-view, and WWE officials were also discussing the idea of having the two face off in a steel cage match.
