The last few weeks have been interesting for Chris Jericho, as the first ever AEW World Champion recently dropped his title to Jon Moxley, and he also bumped into a future WWE Hall of Famer.
Jericho ended up sitting next to Batista on a plane, and he shared a photo of himself and The Animal along with the following caption:
“You never know when you’ll sit next to a @WWE Hall of Famer on the plane! @davebautista (possible photo bomb by @ozzyosbourne?) #LeChampion”
Batista officially retired from in-ring competition after his match with Triple H at WrestleMania last year.
He’s set to be inducted as part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class, and the induction ceremony will air live on the WWE Network on Thursday, April 2.
