Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Nashville, TN this week and Jelly Roll was in the house for the event. WWE had announced Jelly Roll’s appearance ahead of the show, and it was recently reported that the singer could be setting up a potential storyline during this week’s episode of SmackDown.

Jelly Roll and his band set up in the arena and started to perform his song “Liar” but they were interrupted by Logan Paul. The fans booed and Logan Paul told Jelly Roll he makes music for people who have tattoos of their children, but don’t have custody of them.

Logan Paul said he’s disgusted with celebrities and influencers coming into “our” industry, leaking off of “our” success. Paul told Jelly Roll that he’s disgusted by clout chasers like him. The former United States Champion then announced that his podcast inked a long term deal with WWE. Jelly Roll interrupted him and said that Paul doesn’t know where they are. He pointed out that this is Nashville, his hometown and no one gives a damn about Logan Paul’s podcast in Nashville.

Jelly Roll and Logan Paul got heated as they went face to face. Randy Orton came out and started going off on Logan Paul for calling Jelly Roll an outsider.

The Viper got in the ring and started screaming at Logan Paul then Drew McIntyre appeared out of nowhere and hit Orton with a Claymore. Security showed up and made McIntyre leave the ring.

Logan Paul then started beating Randy Orton down in the corner while the security guards were distracted. Jelly Roll grabbed Logan Paul’s hair and tossed him down to the mat to make the save for Orton as Paul rolled out of the ring. The fans chanted “Jelly” as Jelly Roll helped Orton up.

Logan Paul got up on the apron and Randy Orton tried to attack him. Security intervened once again as Orton stood tall with Jelly Roll inside the ring. As Logan Paul was leaving he smashed a guitar on the drum set then trashed all of the band’s equipment that was set up at the top of the stage.

Jelly Roll looked heated as Orton held him back. Logan Paul screamed “you’re not a wrestler brother” as the segment came to an end. After the commercial break Jelly Roll told Orton that he wants to be in his corner when The Viper faces Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
