Shortly after Anthem Sports and Entertainment purchased Impact Wrestling, they put Jeff Jarrett back in charge, but Jarrett went on an indefinite hiatus a few months ago due to personal reasons. Don’t look for Jeff Jarrett to make his return to the company, because Impact announced today that they have officially terminated their business relationship with Jarrett.
Hurricane Helms was working with Impact Wrestling in a backstage role, but a few months ago he parted ways with the company. Helms responded to the tweet with the following:
Impact Wrestling announced plans to rebrand the company as Global Force Wrestling, but the business deal was never officially finalized. The company has quietly gone back to being Impact Wrestling, and that’s the brand they’ll be bringing to Canada for the Bound For Glory pay-per-view next month.
Former WWE star John Morrison, now known as Johnny Impact, will wrestle in the main event of Bound For Glory when he challenges Impact Global Champion Eli Drake for his title. You can watch Bound For Glory on pay-per-view November 5.
