Jeff Hardy is known for his high flying style in the ring, and he’s put many of his opponents away with the Swanton Bomb over the years. But on Sunday night during the WWE live event in Fresno, Hardy defended the United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Shelton Benjamin, and he picked up the win after hitting the Twist of Fate followed by a splash.
It looks like business is about to pick up for Hardy’s feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, as SmackDown Live General Manager Paige recently announced that Hardy will be defending the United States Title against Nakamura on SmackDown this week.
Ahead of their match on Tuesday, Hardy sent a warning to Nakamura when he posted a video saying that the ring is his canvas, and during their match he’s going to paint a masterpiece.
