Shortly after WrestleMania 35 The Hardys had to vacate the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, then Jeff underwent surgery and had to spend the better part of a year sitting on the sidelines due to injury.
The Charismatic Enigma recently returned to Friday Night SmackDown and he picked up a big victory over King Corbin.
Matt Hardy has parted ways with WWE, but Jeff still has some time left on his deal due to the time he missed because of his injury, and it sounds like he still has some big goals.
Jeff Hardy recently appeared on The Bump and said that he believes he still has a few more great years in him. He noted that he loves the new design of the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship, and that he wants to win the big one at least one more time before he retires.
Jeff is no stranger to world title reigns, as he previously captured the WWE Championship, and he’s a former two time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Whether or not he can reach the top of the mountain again remains to be seen.
